This template generates an external link to an emulated game available to play in the browser at the [[Internet Archive]]. Using the template allows for easy listing by "[[Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:Internet_Archive_game|what links here]]" in the toolbox.

This template can be invoked using the {{tl|IAg}} shortcut.

== Linking guidance ==
These guidelines are suggested by [[Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games|WikiProject Video games]].
* While the Internet Archive has an [[Internet Archive#Software|exemption from the DMCA for software archiving]], avoid linking to games outside the curated collections unless you are reasonably sure they aren't associated with piracy; look for a [[warez group]]'s name in filename, or [[crack intro]] at startup
* Only link to one platform per game article; there is no need to link to an arcade version and MS-DOS version of the same game
* If an article is about multiple games, include a link for each one if possible
* For games released on multiple platforms, generally prefer:
** platforms on which the game was originally released
** platforms for which the game was best known
** platforms generally considered to have the best port of the game
