"The great struggle of our times.  The struggle between freedom and tyranny, between democracy and communism, is a serious, deadly struggle.  And you, your life, will be affected by it.  You know this.  You also know that your part in that struggle will mean many kinds of service to the cause of freedom.  And you will consider that service a part of citizenship.  You know that you should include military service in your thinking, in your life plans. . . "

"Now is the time to begin."  Every high school age young man should be starting to form himself into the mold of the soldier, adjusting himself both physically and emotionally to conform to the demands of military service.  Portraying three high school teens, one approaching graduation, one in his junior year, and the last one a sophomore, it advises on how they can "Find Information, Check Yourself, Develop Yourself, START NOW" to make the long-term changes in order to become the ideal soldier entering military training.
