Welcome to the Ephemeral Film Wiki

We hope this will be a resource for research about the ephemeral film genre - a wide definition of films that were made for a specific time, place and/or audience. This genre includes educational, industrial, sponsored, non-theatrical shorts, lab research, etc. It doesn't include feature films or television programs - although snipes, promotional shorts, TV advertising, etc. could be welcome.

Currently, we will be listing the titles held by the A/V Geeks 16mm Archive ( www.avgeeks.com ) but hope to expand holdings by other archives and collectors and list films that nobody has.

We welcome your input!
