Experimental "Neurosis" In a Dog is a short film from 1939 released on 16mm. It is held in the Prelinger Archives collection.
20:53:52:05 Intertitle: In 1932 a two year old male dog, Nick , was required to discriminate between tone of 1012 frequency and tone of 1024 for six months. The animal failed and has never since formed a new conditioned food reflex in the laboratory.
20:55:19:24 Intertitle: Neurotic dog, Nick , in contrast is restless and ill at ease.
20:55:51:18 Nick the neurotic dogs indecisively jumps up then back down, then up again onto a ledge.
20:56:45:05 Intertitle: Nick will not eat once leash is attached. The dog on the leash repeatedly refusing food from the scientist.
20:57:10:16 Intertitle: With conditioned stimulus he ignores food box and retreats. Note respiration and erection.
