Sound and the Story, The is a short film from 1956 released on 16mm. It is held in the Prelinger Archives collection.

The making of phonograph records from the recording session, featuring a symphony orchestra playing classical music, through premastering, pressing and packaging. Good footage of record masters being made and records being pressed (LPs).
