World We Want to Live in, The is a short film from 1942 released on 16mm. It is held in the Prelinger Archives collection.

Dictatorships have developed a religious intolerance which has spread alarmingly throughout the United States in spite of efforts of influential groups and people to forestall such developments. A Roman Catholic, a Protestant and a Jewish child play together on an American shore -- but across the ocean not only religious but also political and social rights are denied to minority groups. Then the fllm indicates some of the intolerances which have developed on this side of the ocean. Charles Evans Hughes, Al Smith, Eddie Cantor and Wendell Willkie all speak for a greater understanding and cooperation. PRESENTS INDICATIONS OF INTOLERANCE IN US & DESCRIBES WORK OF WILLIAMSTOWN INSTITUTE OF HUMAN RELATIONS IN PROMOTING BROTHERHOOD.
