Summary
Time-lapse photography. The first portion of the film shows a pair of yeast cells. In one of the cells the cell wall becomes thin in one area, a daughter cell forms and grows to approximately the same size as the mother cell. In the latter portion of the film this process of reproduction is followed until one yeast cell has given rise to nine cells.
