This was made by the photographic logging system that Caltrans uses to monitor and record conditions on and around state highway rights-of-way. Tracking shot from car driving on California state highway through suburban cities, passing Jack in the Box, A&W, Shell gas stations and other chains, as well as through country and woods. 1980s footage. Car passes through San Lorenzo, California in the greater Bay Area of Northern California. Signs for state route 85, Santa Clara and San Francisco.
