EXPLAINS PRINCIPLE OF X-RAY. SHOWS ITS USE IN POLICE WORK, SURGERY, MODERN INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING, ETC. X-RAY VIEW OF HOW BRAKES ON MODERN MOTORCAR OPERATE.

Technical information about x-rays and sound. X-Ray inspection by police of packages (checking for bombs). X-rays are used in an automobile factory to check for manufacturing defects in parts. Cutaway of a car brake and brake shoe. (also x-ray of the same).

Special effects: X-ray motion pictures show how human ankle is similar to mechanism used in brake shoe.
