Illustrates the many ways listeners enjoy symphonic music without technically understanding it and documents the dedication and perseverance of musicians during their rehearsals. Interviewed are Flint Symphony concertmaster Louis Krch, orchestral director Bill Byrd, Managing Director Roberta Jachim, bassist and rock performer Chris Brown and flautist Jimmy Cruiz. Jazz and rock bands include "The Music Box" and "Design."
