Mother Goose Stories is a short film from 1946 released on 16mm. It is held in the Prelinger Archives collection.

Mother Goose steps out of the nursery rhyme book and brings to life some of the favorite characters of Mother Goose Land, including Little Miss Muffet, Old Mother Hubbard, Queen of Hearts, and Humpty Dumpty. Animated puppets are used throughout.

Great 1940s three dimensional animation film of the Mother Goose Nursery rhymes: Little Miss Muffet, Old Mother Hubbard, The Queen of Hearts, and Humpty Dumpty. Film is introduced by an animation of Mother Goose with her goose projecting the films of her nursery rhymes onto a screen making each chapter a film within a film. Yet even more innovative than the film within a film plot, the films themselves are made like old silent films with title cards and a soundtrack.
