1:22:00 - VS French soldiers fight in Vietnam (Indo-China) against native communist guerilla forces / airplane drops napalm bomb explosion / French soldier hands out cigarettes to captured Vietnamese prisoners / Vietnamese civilians flee homes with all their belongings...elderly man, in company with young children, politely bows to cameraman as he moves on

1:22:50 - VS American soldiers stand guard on Hokkaido Island, Japan. Platoon of soldiers on skis, holding on to wire cables, get pulled through snow country by army vehicle / Japanese boy laughs at soldiers falling in snow on their skis.

1:23:38 - Battleship Wisconsin fires salvos at targets on shore (Korean War). Good shots of big deck guns firing away

1:24:29 - People buy bread in crowded bakery in Rome, Italy / VS boy and girl visitors to a museum in Rome, which only exhibits varied forms, and styles of breads from different nations on its shelves - which include breads shown from Spain, Chile, Argentina, Sardinia, and more / boy picks up giant size loaf of bread

1:25:41 - Spinning 'pickle jar' containing winning numbers at land lottery drawing / young couple, elated at having winning number / VS young family (GI veteran) settle down on new homestead (Tule Lake, California) / family seated in living room...daughter, seated next to mother, practices piano / father teaches son to rope calf / farmer woman hangs wash on clothesline / farmer on tractor turns over topsoil / WS farmland

1:27:45 - VS Lever Brothers skyscraper office building, Park Avenue, NYC: WS, window cleaners ride electric-cable platform (like an elevator) on sides of building to clean windows /air-conditioning cooling units on rooftop / INT building, office workers, desks...as window cleaners ride from floor to floor on scaffold, outside / window washer uses squeegee on office building window / TD, from tall building, of car traffic on Park Avenue (first glass skyscraper on Park Avenue designed by Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill, inspired numerous architectural imitations around world)

1:30:16 - Aerial, tanks on ground during army maneuvers (war games; Operation Longhorn in Texas) / paratroopers jump from airplanes (82nd Airborne Division)...VERY GOOD, of the jump, and also parachutes filling the skies and descending to ground / jeep on parachute and other parachuted equipment hit ground...some crash upon impact with ground / troops and tanks advance after landing.
