From Educational Film Catalogue (1939):

""Based upon research and experimentation, this picture depicts methods of using the sound film in the classroom. Units of instruction at the intermediate, junior and senior high school levels are shown. The parts played by the teacher, the pupils, and the sound film are illustrated in the study of 'Plant Growth,' 'Sound waves and their sources,' 'Work of Rivers,' and other subjects. Because of the need for professional knowledge in this field, this picture will make a substantial contribution to classes in teaching method and in audio-visual instruction, as well as to teachers in service.""
