Outdoor city park set at night. Man holding books prepares to
lecture crowd, but woman in straw hat begins to sing- "Fellow
countrymen hear me out. I've got the whole thing figured out." What
the country needs is more moonlight...romance.. feminine charms in
masculine arms, etc." (flirtation, romance, love songs). Sailor
sits w/ two women on bench, eating popcorn. Female nurse pushing
elderly man in wheelchair smiles at uniformed policeman who waves
his nightstick. Shoeshine man buffing woman's shoe, then plays
harmonica solo to woman. Elderly man sits on bench w/ arm around
nurse, who smiles at cop. Male newsboy singer performs short verse
w/ scat. Female singer & mustachioed lecturer perform final verse
